+Tillman is staying with my parents at "camp" for the time being. He was not a big fan of Ellison pulling his hair and ears all the time. I did not want that to turn into something more so he is away away at "camp". He is enjoying himself...running through the woods and swimming in the pooI. I miss him terribly and hope that when Ellison starts walking (and not pulling hair so much) he can come back.
+ We are going to Murrells Inlet this weekend....just for Saturday but I can not wait!
+ Ellison is walking now...a few wobbly steps at a time. He can cruise around the couch or tables with ease now. He will be running before we know it.
+ Ellison has two new favorite things....the song "Bingo" and "typing" on our laptop. Loves both of them.
+Not sure if everyone saw, but I accomplished my January goal!!! Only 11 more :) February's goal is going to take a little more time.
+ Have any of you tried J. Crew's minnie pants? I have 2 pairs and I wish I could wear them everyday. They fit perfectly, and that is saying a LOT. I have such a hard time finding pants that fit. My hip/waist ratio is a little, how can i say this, on the different side :) My waist is really small and my hips are not. I got the size 4 in the Minnies and they fit PERFECT. (just for reference I wear a size 28 in all J Crew jeans)
+Ellison has perfected 3 words now..."dada", "mama", and "baaa" (like a sheep) This age is SO cool. I will be honest, having a newborn is hard and sometimes not really fun, but this age...I wish he could stay this age for years. I like that he can do somethings himself, but still needs me for most things. I love making him smile and laugh. I still can't believe in 10 short weeks he will be 1 year old....hold me, someone.
+ My mama came to take care of Ellison last Thursday, since I had a conference in Columbia. Seeing those two (Ellison and my mom) together makes my heart beat out of my chest. They both love each other so much. I am so glad that my mom is such a BIG part of Ellison's life even though she lives over 2 hours away. Thank you mama...we all love you so much!!!
+My brother and best friend both graduate in May. My brother with a master's degree in Construction Science from Clemson and my best friend with a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Ohio State. I can not wait to see both of them walk across the stage. They both have worked incredibly hard for these degrees. Plus I get to visit Columbus for the first time too...win win

I hate giving Dominick any medications either, but when I see it actually giving him some relief it makes me feel so much better. I hope Tilman can come home soon, I'm fearful of how Dominick and our dogs will get along. They still don't really know how to act around him, but it's getting better every day. They're so nervous, but now that he's getting bigger it definitely is helping...they don't know what's to come though. ;) That's such a good thing that your momma can be so involved in Ellison's life. I wish we could live closer to our families for that reason, but such is the life...:P Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Ellison is starting to feel better! We have two dogs that I am a little bit anxious to see how they interact with the baby--I can see several days of "camp" in our yorkie's future! :)
